Pan Ams

The Pan Am Cup involves the top ranked countries in the NORCECA and the South America zones. The event is traditionally the first big tournament of the season with our men's full national team and this year it is particularly important because of the big year ahead with Olympic qualification starting later this fall. This will be the first time in several years that the Ottawa-Gatineau region will host a men’s senior international volleyball tournament. The Pan Am Cup is a qualifying event for the FIVB World League for 2012 – last year Puerto Rico advanced from the Pan Am Cup tournament to eventually qualify to this year's World League competition. Teams are now confirmed. The VI Pan American Men’s Volleyball Cup will feature 10 teams: Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Panama, Bahamas, Dominican Republic
